ESMOD’s involvement in VERSE was highlighted during a European meeting dedicated to Erasmus+ opportunities and European funding. Véronique Beaumont presented the school’s experience of working within the project.
Her contribution described how international mobility and academic cooperation had helped ESMOD build European partnerships and participate in collaborative initiatives bringing education and industry together.
Within VERSE, ESMOD contributes fashion and teaching expertise to the programme’s educational objectives and the training of facilitators. Its involvement also supports the design and testing of teaching and learning activities.
The presentation highlighted the value of connecting higher education institutions, companies and emerging talent around shared goals. ESMOD’s experience illustrates how European cooperation can support changes in teaching while maintaining a close relationship with the needs of the fashion sector.
Through VERSE, that cooperation becomes part of the work of developing and testing educational approaches across the partnership.
